My name is Kasia (Catherine). I am a mountaineer, a mum, and a business owner, and I love life. My experiences, victories, failures, and the mountains – made me who I am today. I have been climbing mountains my whole life. I share my strengths and weaknesses here and hope I can help you find balance. Maybe you can relate to some of my stories.
Today, I am a qualified Mountain Leader in Great Britain and a successful small business owner. I am a Chartered Management Accountant and on the way to building a great company. A company that helps construction SMEs achieve their goals. My teenage children are my best friends! We share all our problems and victories and travel as much as possible.
My life is how I create, live, and pursue my dreams. This blog is much beyond eating disorders. Although the eating disorder is an obstacle, I conquered and won. But I won because of who I am because I believe in myself and never give up. And so can you. One event doesn’t define your life. The way you live your life comes from within you. You choose. It is not easy to conquer our demons, and it is not easy to climb the mountain. But your attitude, resilience, and strength will lead you to victory.
This site and everything I write about is based on my experiences, and it is my journey to reach a balance in life. I created this blog to help you overcome eating disorders and other challenges in life by showing you how to love yourself and listen to yourself. I managed to overcome a lot and face the eating disorder – that disappeared when I stopped fighting it but started a methodological approach. It took me seven years to fully recover, and today, I am proud and happy that I can share this with you and that I can share the hope that full recovery is a fact. ED (Eating disorder for short) doesn’t define me or my life any longer.
I have learned how to love myself and how our body and mind work.
If you feel lost and looking for help – finding your true passion is a great way to start.
This blog is an adventure. My blog is about struggles and victories. I welcome you to comment and share your experiences, too. Your life is another amazing adventure; if you treat it as such, all ups and downs will become your lessons, memories, and roots for living a happier life.
I keep updating this section as years go by, and this year (2024), I lost count of my recovery years. However, I know that it has been over ten years. I am happy to answer your emails and messages. Please don’t be afraid to reach me. I will try to help. Please remember that I am not a doctor or therapist but a mentor.
love and Light
Kasia
