Step 1 Realisation

How much pain is enough to let go?

The recovery from the eating disorder requires us to let go of many false beliefs and harmful behaviours, including:

Overexercising

Checking body weight

Dividing food into clean and bad

Purging

Starving

Restricting food intake

Dieting

The will to recover must be strong like a power of thunderstorm. No ifs and no buts.  A pure and absolute powerful statement

I want and I will recover. In fact, I have already started. With this thought.

If you want to recover, say goodbye to all beliefs which accompanied the eating disorder. Tell them goodbye and send far away, beyond our galaxy, out of the whole universe.

Recovery is not like a walk around a lake. Recovery is like a hardest climb you have never done, to the highest mountain in all worlds. You may have doubts on the way, especially during storms. Three will be moments of “Is this really going to work?” and moments of “Why did I slip? Was I restricting again?” to “Wow, it is really working!”.

The best way for the beginning of your journey is to visualise your future. Therefore, It would be good if you make two pages in your diary:

Page 1 My life with the eating disorder in it

Page 2 My life without the eating disorder.

Write how you see yourself and your life, what goals you will achieve?

Choose the page you want to follow, as that, from now on, will be your compass and your light in the dark. Your new pathway. Without the eating disorder.

Love and Light
